all hail (new fish) -
04-28-2005, 12:39 AM
after a year of searching, failed orders, and 1 doa, a small store in beaumont texas landed my dream fish today. and after a 3 hour drive to pick her up she is now safe in the grasps of my 92g. she is a female bellus angel,,, some consider it the holy grail of reef safe angels,,especially by me. she is doing wonderful and just loves the gut fed brine shrimp she got after about three hours in her new home.. she is very shy so far but i know this will change.. i snapped a few shots of her tonight after lights out to share with you.. sorry lights were off so had to use flash, and they are a lil blurry but you will get the point,,,,, sorry for going on so long, but you have to understand this is my dream fish. i hope you love her

NO they are not dwarf angels,, they are genicahthus angels,,, there are 5 different genicahthus species,, bellus, watanabei, lamark, masked swallow tail, and japanese swallow tail. mine is about 3 inches. i also own a female watanabei and a masked swallow tail. they are such great fish completely reef safe and all very beautiful. next goal is a male watanabei.
